1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jobifies ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jobifies.

2. Definitions

  • Platform — The Jobifies website at jobifies.com and all associated services.
  • Job Seeker — A registered user who browses, saves, and applies to job listings.
  • Employer — A registered user who posts job listings and manages applications on behalf of a company.
  • Admin — A platform administrator with elevated privileges for content moderation and user management.
  • Listing — A job posting published on the Platform, either by an employer or aggregated from a third-party source.
  • Content — All text, images, data, and materials submitted to or displayed on the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Jobifies. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at jobifies@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. User Roles

Upon registration, you must complete the onboarding process and select a role:

  • Job Seeker — Can browse jobs, apply, save listings, set alerts, and manage their profile.
  • Employer — Can post job listings, manage applications, view analytics, and manage their company profile.

Admin privileges are assigned by Jobifies at its sole discretion. You may not request or self-assign admin access.

6. Employer Obligations

As an employer on Jobifies, you agree to:

  • Post only genuine job openings for real positions
  • Not charge applicants any fees to apply or be considered for a position
  • Comply with all applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws in your jurisdiction
  • Remove or close listings when positions are filled
  • Provide accurate company information and job descriptions
  • Acknowledge that all new listings are subject to admin review before publication

7. Job Seeker Obligations

As a job seeker on Jobifies, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and applications
  • Submit only genuine applications for positions you intend to pursue
  • Ensure all content you submit (resumes, cover letters) is your own original work or properly attributed

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without written permission
  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications through the Platform
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Post fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive job listings
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures, access controls, or rate limits
  • Use the Platform for any activity that violates applicable law

9. Aggregated Job Content

Some job listings on Jobifies are aggregated from third-party sources (such as Adzuna and RemoteOK) and are displayed with a "via [Source]" attribution. Jobifies does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of aggregated listings. These listings may be removed or changed at any time by their original source.

By clicking "Apply" on an aggregated listing, you may be redirected to a third-party website. Jobifies is not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of third-party sites.

10. Intellectual Property

The Jobifies name, logo, design, and code are the property of Jobifies. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

You retain ownership of all content you submit (job listings, profiles, applications, reviews). By submitting content, you grant Jobifies a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content in connection with operating the Platform.

11. Job Approval Process

All job listings submitted by employers are initially set to "pending" status and must be approved by an administrator before becoming publicly visible. Jobifies reserves the right to reject, modify, or remove any listing that violates these Terms or does not meet our quality standards.

12. Featured Listings & Payments

Employers may purchase "featured" status for their job listings. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.

  • Featured status takes effect immediately upon successful payment verification
  • Refunds are not available after featured status has been applied to a listing
  • Pricing may change at any time; the price displayed at the time of purchase is the price charged
  • All prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes

13. Disclaimers

  • Jobifies is a job board platform, not an employment agency. We do not guarantee employment or hiring outcomes.
  • Aggregated job content is provided "as is" from third-party sources. We do not verify the accuracy of aggregated listings.
  • Salary data shown on the platform (including salary benchmarks and salary ranges) is informational only and may not reflect actual compensation for any specific position.
  • AI-generated match scores and job recommendations are provided as guidance and do not guarantee job suitability or application success.
  • The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobifies' total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed INR 10,000 (ten thousand Indian Rupees) or the amount you paid to Jobifies in the preceding 12 months, whichever is greater.

Jobifies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, regardless of the cause of action.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobifies, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

16. DMCA / Copyright Takedown

If you believe that content on Jobifies infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed
  2. Identification of the material on Jobifies that you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to locate it
  3. Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

17. Termination

Jobifies may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. We will endeavor to provide notice before termination where practicable.

You may delete your account at any time through Clerk's account management. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.

19. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before material changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
